For Executors
Since August 2014, Chartered Accountants have been permitted to carry out non-contentious probate work without the requirement to instruct a solicitor. In response to this, we obtained our probate licence in 2014, permitting us to undertake non-contentious probate and estate administration work. We were often engaged, and indeed still are engaged, by solicitors to provide support for their clients with estate accounting, tax compliance and forensic analysis of estate records for contentious probate cases so providing probate services for non-contentious estates without legal complexity was a natural step for us.
We can provide as much or as little assistance as you require, from a full estate administration service where we will deal with all aspects of tax compliance, probate, administration and estate accounting; to assisting you only with obtaining a UK Grant of Probate, should that be your preference.
We will work closely with you to ensure that you fulfil your role as executor in carrying out the deceased’s wishes, meet all of the compliance timeframes imposed and serve the interests of the beneficiaries who will inherit the estate assets.
We also have a good knowledge of estate procedures in other jurisdictions and have experience in working alongside other third party advisers where local or specialist expertise is necessary.
